It’s The Puppy Report.

Hi, my name is Bauer. I’m the newest addition to the Lawson family. Deb said it was okay to take over her blog this week. I haven’t learned to write yet, so Deb agreed to write it for me.

I met Deb last Sunday. It was love at first sight. I was first going to a home in Ottawa, but they had a change of heart. Phew, I didn’t want to go there. I was waiting for Deb. I knew she would rescue me. She whispered in my ear “everything happens for a reason Leftie” (that’s what they called me on the farm where I was born — I have a white left paw — it’s what makes me unique). Deb says everyone has something that makes them unique. She says it’s part of being the YOU of YOU. She’s writing about that in her book she says.

I am meant to be with the Lawson Family, and I have to tell you…I love them. I know they love me too; they’re always hugging and kissing me, so that’s pretty much proof in the pudding. What? Pudding? Where? Yum. (I’m a puppy remember?)

A few times I’ve heard Deb say; “now this is THE new normal I can get used to!” Yup, she loves me.

I’m teaching as much to the Lawson’s as they are trying to teach me. Here’s a few lessons “they’ve” learned so far:

· Just because I’m cute doesn’t mean I don’t need guidance — I want to learn — Deb’s says it’s awesome to have a journey that includes life-long learning.

· I pee a lot — not once in the house too (yeah me!) I love being outside — Deb says she likes being outside too — it gives her energy.

· I live in the constant moment of “right now” — Deb says humans could/should do this too.

· My greatest pleasure? Experiencing activities to the fullest- Deb says ditto.

· I love the laughter I’m bringing to their home (especially when I pounce in the backyard into a side roll, sometimes a double roll) — Deb says it’s healthy to laugh — and it’s a kinda-of-medicine. Cool!

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, there is so much more the Lawson family (and their friends and family) will learn from me. I think the world is kinda nutty right now so it’s gunna be good for all of us. I’m going to bring hope, joy, love, loyalty, and a positive vibe to the home.

They deserve that.

I deserve it, too.

Until the next Bauer Hour … woof woof! xoxoxo

Whoa … Deb has over 24 years of Mom experience and 35 years of business experience. She’s sharing her success — along with her gifts — through her story in a witty insightful way, so that people can live their best life! (So basically a dog’s life!)

She’s gunna be an author. It’s her dream. She blogs now — it’s a path to achieving her dreams.

When she’s not following me around making sure I don’t eat mulch, or plants, or dead mice, she serves as the Chief Experience Officer and a Content Writer for leaders2inspire; and proudly serves as a Board Member of leaders2give, the non profit (for purpose!)
